This is probably the only (Tester 3 others) portable monitor that can be used for medical diagnostics such as radiology (X-ray, CT and MRI) and has the same overall image quality as a $3000 diagnostic monitor. Bright, wide shades of gray and very sharp. A visual comparison with a full diagnostic monitor shows that the X-ray images are identical in focus. Can be part of a portable x-ray station, with your IT professional's permission, paired with a second identical monitor and portable lab bench replacing a desktop computer. As far as I can tell, it meets the ACR minimum requirements. Maybe the manufacturer checks. ACR Display Standards/Online Minimum Requirements: IPS Interface/350 Brightness/High Contrast/3MP Matrix Size.
