Turns out my old heating element was probably still fine. I had a problem with the 110 outlet on the fridge. However, since this part often fails, I kept the new one and kept the old one as a spare if I ever needed it. Installation is a bit painful, but that's not the fault of the replacement heater. It has more to do with the metal cover surrounding the heater assembly. Its sharp tin hat must first be removed before the new heater can be used. But he entered smoothly. Getting the old one out was difficult. One piece of advice: test the 110 ohm source with a voltmeter first. Then check the connectors to which the heater is connected. Turn off the gas supply to prevent the fridge from turning on the gas burner and turn on the fridge inside so you are prompted to turn on the burner 110. If there is a voltage of 110 at the terminal, then most likely it is a heating element. Otherwise it could be the computer circuit board or, as in my case, the fridge power supply. Now I'm smarter and I'm becoming an expert. There are good tutorials on YouTube for replacing the heating element. This one seems to fit well. I would buy it again if needed.
