Review on ๐Ÿงผ 18-Inch Unger Professional Replacement Rubber Squeegee Blade - Customizable Size by Steve Whited

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good quality with every purchase.

I think I've been buying them for about seven years. The important things first. The price goes up and down. Add it to your cart and preview before you buy. I think I paid 2.97 once, last time I bought for 2.99. I also saw that it was so high that it was cheaper to buy a whole new scraper. What I particularly like about this 18" replacement is that I have several 12" and 6" mops at home. So this one has a new 12" blade and a new 6" blade, perfect. Scrapers are one of my favorite tools. I keep them in all bathrooms and in the kitchen where I use them when washing granite countertops with soap and water. I just rinse the suds down the sink or sweep a section and dry it with a dry towel. Sometimes I don't even have to rinse, but when I do, I rinse out the rinse water as well. I recommend keeping your blade clean for best results. Mop Type Warning: One of those flat mops you see that's labeled for use in your shower left a film on my glass shower enclosure. It was only after using it for a while that I realized I had to peel the film off with a sharp glass scraper. Since then I've only used the original scraper with a black rubber blade. This extends the deep cleaning interval, which is good since this glass takes a long time to clean. I wish I could tell you how often you need to change blades, but I've never tracked that interval. I always have this spare on hand whenever I feel like I need a new blade. Changing the blade is easy, usually just loosening a few screws. Remove the old rubber blade from the blade holder channel. (Then I gently wipe the canal to make sure it's free of debris.) Insert a new blade into the canal and cut. On mine I slide the channel back into the grip and tighten the screws and you're done. Maybe 2-3 minutes (unless you can find a screwdriver.). There are some mops that do not have the blade in a separate channel. Changing the same idea; Start by loosening the screws to see what you have. Cheap shower mop blades aren't interchangeable (they're useless anyway, IMO).
