My 10 lb mini dachshund fits perfectly in my size bag and I find it very comfortable to ride in. She's a service dog so she spends 2 or 3 hours with her when I'm not home and I run errands with no problem. The ventilation provided by the mesh material is cool enough for a Texan summer but feels fairly durable. I love the adjustable neck opening and the shoulder straps that allow it to be worn as a backpack or a front pack. The removable waterproof base wasn't strong and supportive enough, so I cut out a piece of cardboard and placed it between the base and the bag for more support. There are two very small mesh pockets on the sides of the bag where I keep my leash and treats and another zippered front pocket where I keep my keys and wallet. The bag smelled strongly of chemicals when it arrived, but that went away after a few days. I get many compliments on this bag.
