You are active, just like me. Right? But I was wrong. Oh so wrong. I didn't heed the warnings. I thought that a brand I love like OXO, a brand I have so many products for, couldn't do something that BAD. So it flows? nope does he make ice cream Yes. Is the little flip top elegant? Of course! But can you actually use ice for that cold drink you're craving? NO. It took me over a week to figure out why my water tasted TERRIBLE. I drink water. Only water. And I'm picky! I like it when it's clean and fresh, and from the source when possible, and sooooo cold. And above all, I want it to taste like WATER. It's not like I would have taken someone's now empty save a cup of melted fruit punch ice cream and filled it with water. Not sweet and chemical. I even bought special cleaning drops for my favorite Tervis mugs, thinking they left residue from someone daring to use my mug for their own purposes. They came out crystal clear, but still. taste was. If I bought a bottle of water (yes I know) it would be delicious. But he put some ice in my mug and poured it in, and here it is. I FINALLY got this pathetic ice cream bowl up to my nose. No, nothing from the tray. But from the blue silicone caps? THAT'S IT! OH JOY, I've found the culprit! But I'll be damned if I'll spend $10 on an ice making ship to spoil my fine water! So it goes back. The funny thing is, my daughter and son-in-law have two of these that they bought about three years ago. They love them, they've never had a problem and I use their ice cream when I'm there with no problems. OHO, what happened?! So, my dear reader friend. please. Don't make the same mistake I did. We spent money. We were waiting for the package. We paid taxes. It won't do you any good. Save yourself, your money and your cold drink!
