Review on ๐Ÿ’ป LTERIVER PCIE USB 3.0 Expansion Card with Smart Power Control: 1X 19Pin USB 3.0 Header and 2X USB-A Ports for Windows & Server Systems by Jason Sullivan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The bottom port hangs with the Samsung 64G "Fit " firmware.

EDITI received a replacement card. This TOP port does not work with Samsung 64GB "Fit" flash memory. -------------- ------------------- ----------ORIGINAL REVIEW Just arranged for a replacement . Let's see how the next one works. I doubt it will be more stable. The only reason I even ordered this card was because I got an LTERIVER Wi-Fi card and found that its Bluetooth 5.1 requires a USB port from the motherboard. Your ad didn't say it was necessary or I wouldn't have ordered this card. My Dell tower doesn't have a free USB slot on the motherboard. Anyway, I got this card because it offers the necessary USB connection. Unfortunately, this Wi-Fi card had a 4-9 pin USB cable. So, to connect the 19-pin connector on this card, I had to buy a 9-19 cable. Finally, after I installed the LTERIVER Wi-Fi card, my system would not boot. Again and again BSOD. I had to remove it. Good, good, I thought. After all, this USB stick is good for a couple of USB 3.0 Type-A ports. hmm Within a minute of testing, I found that the pair's bottom connector was simply completely covered by the Samsung 64G "Fit" flash. The top port could read it at full speed of 280MBps.So. I will try a replacement. I hope this doesn't break my computer. --------------------------------- By the way. Check out the ad photos. The ports are uncomfortably far from one side of the metal bracket. I mean almost to the very edge. Should they really be like this?

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not the best
