This product is very hair specific. Not sure if this will work unless you have long single layered hair. I tried both sizes on shoulder length layered hair and it was a real mess. I see how this product COULD work, but I have my doubts. In fact, it is a wire covered with a mesh. You will definitely need lots of hair to cover the potentially visible areas of this product as it is not particularly attractive. Overall the product is easy to use and understand, but it doesn't pull my hair into a bun and using a bunch of bobby pins to pin the layers underneath (to hide the product) would look silly.
