I use different purple shampoos/conditioners. I've had limited success with many of them (Clairol, Bed Head, Fanola, etc.). Each did little to reduce my brassiness and all were very dry. I don't want to dry my hair for no reason (well, I don't want to dry my hair anyway). Now it's not a shampoo or conditioner, it's a mask. However, I use it about once a week, leave it on my hair for 7 minutes and it's amazing! I have read a lot about this product and depending on your hair its performance is up to you. At first I only let it sit for 3 minutes and saw no difference, but that doesn't mean the product doesn't work, it means we are all very different and you may need to experiment a little to see what might work for you. Hair. I lifted for a few minutes after each use until I saw how it worked on my hair. It cools the copper and keeps my blond, blond! The best part is that it doesn't dry my hair out at all! I recently bought again (3rd purchase) but please be careful which seller you are buying from. I received my 3rd bottle and it usually lasts a few months of use. My bottle is almost empty after 2 uses. I know this is an issue with Amazon (be careful with sellers) and I know better. Too bad there is no real conversion. I suggest going straight to Pravana and bypassing Amazon and the merchants they allow to use their platform.
