I go hiking quite often and do long distances with backpacks. I used to wear Darn Tough socks and although they are very good I still got a few blisters. I tried the F2F damask socks and they fit better and I had no blisters. Of course there are many factors that cause blisters, but nothing has changed in my case except changing socks. Expensive but they seem to hold up well. It's too early to tell how long they will last before replacing them. If you hesitate which size to buy, choose a smaller size. My shoes are a 9 1/2 - 10 and the large ones are too long. Wednesday is perfect.
