Similar to the most popular Ultra Raptor trail running shoe, only with a wider toe box and a more durable profile. This shoe has great grip, fits well (buy one size up) and most importantly is wider than other La Sportiva trail running shoes. The toe box could be a few millimeters wider next to the pinky toe, but that's the only improvement needed. I wear them all day backpacking with 35lbs on my back, when we stop to camp everyone else switches from hiking boots to "hiking boots" and I walk in them without even noticing my feet. These are very comfortable shoes, even after an 8 hour hike on the Appalachian Trail. They have a removable insole so that orthopedic insoles fit well. I highly recommend them.
