The bad block is frying my computer

Got this for a few bucks off a few days ago, was very excited as I thought it would be a great addition to my build for the future. I liked having as much power as my itx system might need, so you could feel my frustration as I carefully installed the NZXT E850 using only the cables provided, making sure all ports and connectors were properly installed, only for my systems. flicker once before they die. I mean, DEAD dead. I tried going back to the old PSU, swapped out the RAM, sent the video through my graphics card, and put in HDMI, a full thirty feet. Eventually decided to take it all to the Geek Squad where they were kind enough to test the E850. The results showed that the particular device I received was not outputting the correct voltage to the CPU port. Mainboard burned out. Looks like it's time for an update sooner rather than later. I'm disappointed, but I also understand that these things can be a lottery and I could be the unlucky loser. It still doesn't change the fact that a product that advertises itself as high quality, high quality and efficient, with digital data and control, is doing significant damage to my computer and setting me back hundreds of dollars. I ask for a replacement but it left a bad taste in my mouth. I would have given one star if it weren't for the fan noise. When researching this product, the noise development of the fan was criticized in many reviews. While I've never had a chance to stress the E850, I'd say the fans felt manageable, and unless you're aiming for a hidden build, the noise here should be acceptable.
