It is not of the same quality as the original Dyson filter.
I've only been using it for a week and it's working fine. The only complaint I have is that I can't turn off the flashing "change filter" light no matter how hard I try. I followed the instructions exactly, but the light is still flashing. This must have been Dyson's way of telling me I had a fake filter installed. For this reason I give 3 points.
