Worth the money

I have an old used 2012 MacBook Pro that only had 4GB RAM. I've had mixed opinions as to whether upgrading to 16GB would really hurt performance. Well that's for sure! The machine runs at least twice as fast as before. Applications like Word that took 2 to 3 minutes to start up started in less than 30 seconds. The same with Photoshop. Let's be honest. It's still an old computer. However, the additional storage has made it comparable in speed to a cheap NEW laptop but with the benefit of being a MacBook. Now this is more than enough for personal and business use.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Slightly torn
