Merv 8 is quite heavy
Merv 8 I ordered. In my application, the air flows much more easily with a lower Merv factor. Merv 8 is too tight and restricts airflow in my system. I was surprised at how well it filters particles and dust. But then again, I need something more porous for my conditioner.
