Bright, almost too bright.
Nice and bright, but here's the problem. I've had something like this before, but the base was green hard plastic. All of the light was directed up the optical fiber. This is completely transparent, so the LED light shines brightly everywhere and draws attention away from the wood. I have it as a decoration in my van and when I drive at night I have to unplug it because it's too bright. My old one, which stopped working after about 3 years, didn't work.
