Review on Intel I3 3245 3 40GHz Processor BX80637I33245 by Angelarii Angelov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

An excellent processor overall. Initially, I intended to build my computer on an AMD FX-6300 or Phenom II X4 970 processor, but when I did the math, I discovered that the system on a "cheap" AMD would cost 2022 more. Due to the high 125 W TDP of AMD products, you cannot get a cheap cooler, and you therefore require a cooler motherboard. Additionally, an AMD power supply requires at least 500–550 watts. 400–450 watts are sufficient for the i3-3240, unless of course you have a video card that is extremely cool. then grab a stronger PSU as well. By the way, the processors from Intel's rival use 2.5 times as much energy. The manufacturing process used by AMD is 32 Nm and 45 Nm. Therefore, decide for yourself what would be more profitable for you to purchase. Everything suits me, and I don't regret getting the processor from Intel. You can buy a Core I5 after a year or two without upgrading the complete system, but only if there are enough applications and games that are multi-core optimized. If you don't often convert videos and play Metro, a Core i3 will last you for two to three years. And there are no FPS drops; the tanks on this Intel just fly.

Pros
  • The Core i3 3240 is the topic at hand. It doesn't even begin to warm up. When not in use, the temperature ranges between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius and between 40 and 43 degrees Celsius. The cooler costs about $300 and has a positive impact on heat dissipation because to the 22 nm manufacturing technique. Fast is yet another benefit. An SSD makes a whistling noise when you install a system and 8 GB of RAM on it. Any application launches immediately. The third plus-point is not overclocked. The 3.4 GHz frequency is sufficient for work, watching movies, and playing games. This processor's fourth plus TDP is only 55 W, compared to 95–125 W for the majority of AMD processors.
Cons
  • I gave this processor's faults a lot of thought. Someone will say that even if there are just 2 cores, the hyper trading technology significantly offsets this drawback. There are no issues with my friend's dual core Pentium G2022, which is not manufactured by HP.
