Review on πŸͺž ToiletTree Fogless Shower Mirror - Deluxe LED with Squeegee (Bathroom Mirror) by Robert Gilbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you want a truly fog-free mirror, just buy this one and forget about the others

. I decided to try the Deluxe LED after using both the stock mirror and the street mirror. Point 1 - anti-fog. end of the history period. Putting hot water in the "tank" doesn't fog up the mirror for as long as you'd like, it's a science, not a trick, and it doesn't wear out like coated mirrors. Point 2. If you install it correctly, it will stay on the wall. My original wall mount is still "sticking" to the wall almost 3 years after installation. I installed a new LED mirror in another shower. No rocket science, place the entire tube of adhesive onto the wall mount as shown, remove the covers from the decals, apply to the wall and leave to dry overnight. I rubbed the wall down with some rubbing alcohol on a tissue just to make sure it was clean and most importantly dry. Point 3. The LED deluxe mirror is much larger than the original, I have a round face shape, so the normal mirror was a bit small depending on the transverse orientation. No problem with the Deluxe, it looks huge when shaved. Point 5 - LED lights are good, they help soften some shadows but aren't blindingly bright. I also use this mirror to remove soft contacts sometimes and it really prevents shadows and allows me to close the lens (which is a problem as my vision is uncorrected at this point) after pushing it down out of the pupil area. The battery compartment seems to be sealed fairly well, but hot showers are a finicky environment for electronics, so let's see how it holds up, I think it'll be fine. One nice thing is that they don't use tiny screws that rust for the battery cover, but rather threaded friction-lock fasteners. I've seen similar fasteners/seals on boat gear etc designed for the marine environment. Point 5 - I rarely use a squeegee, just splash water on the mirror surface and it works for shaving, if you are doing delicate or very tight work, the squeegee removes even tiny water droplets very quickly. To date I have not had any problems with water spots or debris on any of the mirrors. I wish it had a "slot" or razor hanger rather than just a shelf as I use a heavy DE razor and don't leave it flat on a shelf but the mirror doesn't fog up so I can hang my razor in the other place. The location of the shelf under the mirror will likely make it difficult to unplug the shaver anyway. I've had coated shower mirrors, plain shower mirrors, etc. All of these tend to fog up after a while, but NOT this one. Excellent. Product line and very responsive customer service when I ripped the suction cups on my street mirror.
