Good knife. Good balance and very sharp. However, I have only had this knife since early December and have only used it about 6 times for butchering raw chicken and skimming fat from raw breast and pork thighs and rust has developed on one side of the blade. I just use lukewarm water, dish soap and a sponge to clean, then pat dry with a soft towel and then let it air dry some more before sticking it in an outdoor knife block. This is disappointing to say the least. I am someone who is very interested in knives. I never leave them in the sink or put them in the dishwasher. Aside from the rust, this knife is really good.
