When I open the packaging they look very cheap. There's nothing lush or flashy about them, but for the price, I might be overstating the look. They didn't feel super soft when I put them on. Sherpa lining is fairly flat, not fluffy. I decided to leave the mittens anyway. I wore them on an evening walk last night, the temp was over 40 or so. Work moderately. My hands were warm after a while but not fried. They can't stand the real cold. Another complaint. I have a fairly thin wrist, and these mittens have no taper around the wrist, elastic or anything else to hold them up. I literally had to make a fist with my hands because the mittens kept slipping off. They end up in the car's glove compartment as spare mittens. Edit: I've worn them a few more times and my complaints above are still valid. These mittens are warmer than I initially thought. I put them on for a 40 minute walk and had to take them off because my hands got hot, it was about 45 degrees outside.
