Review on Qcyuui Modern Sputnik Ceiling Light by John Clarey

First off, this lantern is inexpensive and does the job with style, but you get what you pay for. It fits together relatively well but has a lot of wires which seems disconcerting but I'm not an electrician. Two wires per rod. It goes along and stays a little loose, but that's okay as it doesn't move much. My main issue with the light is that it has these weird lines and holes at the base that are visible when the light is there (see second photo). I was wondering if maybe this part was supposed to go into the ceiling but it's not what the photos show. Very odd and it leaves the wiring visible! I decided to keep it because it took me a while to find anything I even liked. I will cover the holes with a strip of leather.
