Most parts are made of silver-coated plastic and are very light. The part holding the hand head is an air cargo. This can work very well, but we won't know since we don't install it. We're used to brands like Kohler and Pfister making all-metal parts that feel stronger and more durable. Of course, these brands are more expensive, but you get what you pay for. When we install a new shower head, we want to invest in something made out of better parts that will last longer and be more reliable.
