My remarkable2 was in the front pocket of my Modoker Vintage Laptop Backpack along with my laptop, which was next to a cooler. Someone forgot to push the cooler cap in, so the water escaped and made a huge puddle, which my backpack absorbed. There was some moisture on my laptop and the remarkable cover was wet on both sides towards the bottom. Everything still works (knock on wood). Needless to say I learned a hard lesson and purchased this baby. The fit is snug and perfect. Nothing like extra protection for $$$$ devices.
