I bought this to replace my regular pump to moisturize my son's curly hair and enhance his curls. The pump sprayer pours too much water in the same place. This sprayer delivers a fine continuous mist for about 5 seconds at a time for a more diffuse application. This set of two bottles comes with each bottle in a separate thin cardboard box so they can be gifted separately when purchased. When I first tried to use the bottle I thought it was broken as no water came out. I kept pulling the trigger until fog finally appeared. I think you need to basically prime the internal spray mechanism before the water comes out. I use this bottle daily for both my son and my hair and each time I love it more and more. As mentioned above, I use it to re-moisturize my son's locks instead of my old pump sprayer or wet brush. I've also used it to moisturize my hair before putting it in curlers without heat. It is also ideal for lightly dampening hair before braiding or knotting and for dampening hair before cutting. The fine mist is ideal for spraying on the face and body on hot days. It is also ideal for watering delicate flowers such as orchids. It's probably also great for temporary tattoos and any crafts that require a wet surface. The possibilities of this sprayer are endless. The only downside, if you can even call it that, is that it's really too big for travel if you have limited packing space and that's your intended use.
