My preschoolers enjoyed watching ants every day in connection with our study of insects and bugs. However, the ants never made it through the tunnels - disappointing. But they certainly carried a lot of sand! After all, ants are living things, so their behavior cannot be controlled! The learning experience, however, is for the boys.
