I need them as a nipple retainer for an upcoming surgery. My previous size was a 1/2" bar with 4mm balls. I didn't think they were that much bigger. However they are. They fit well and work as intended but compared to standard metal bars they aren't Everyday wear. They will definitely have trouble grabbing things. I'm also concerned about their durability. They have external threads (which I think should be mentioned in the product description) and the threaded part isn't particularly long or tight. I like that these rods have a certain flexibility.
