One of my passions is making cutting boards for friends and family. After trying Boos Oil and Cream on some of my recent cutting boards, I decided to try Clark's Oil and Wax on my newest board as it contains antimicrobial orange and lemon extracts and carnauba wax. The scent is very subtle but very pleasant. The oil absorbs quickly and completely into my thirsty, dry wood. The wax leaves a nicer shine than Boos cream, likely due to the inclusion of a harder carnauba wax in addition to beeswax. I like the look and the feel. Clarks Oil and Wax is slightly more expensive than the Boos set and contains 4 oz. less butter, but 1 oz. more wax than boos tank. Although I think both brands are overpriced, I prefer Clark products and will pay a few bucks more to get the shine, scent, and antimicrobial protection. I am very happy with the results.
