I used this to keep my garage door open when I brought in groceries. The typical garage door is a bit heavier than doors throughout the home, and the floor in this case is tile. Under these conditions, the doorstop must be pushed under the door vigorously, otherwise it will slip off. The description says it doesn't slip at all, but in my case it didn't. But placing it under the door with some deliberate force works, at least for the few minutes it takes me to bring groceries. The only minor complaint is that a few weeks later I spotted an identical product on another website for only $1.95. Paid about $6 here but was happy to find a stop taller than the more usual 1" high stops.
