Skincare junkies like myself are really spoiled for choice when it comes to sheet masks these days. I tend to prefer the hydrogel variety (although I don't think they're particularly environmentally friendly). This is an old school cotton "felt" material infused with serum that's touted for being both moisturizing and calming. It fit me decently but (as usual) was a bit small over my big Italian nose. Not surprising since these tend to be designed for petite Asian faces. As with many sheet masks, there's a ton of product in the envelope. Enough to completely soak the mask itself with enough left over to liberally massage into neck and décolletage. In terms of the formula, the first thing I noticed is that it has a surprisingly astringent aroma. A bit like peroxide or witch hazel. But once applied, it feels very soothing and leaves my face nicely plump and moist. I use these just before bed and in the morning, my face feels very smooth and looks attractively rosy. For the most part, I'd say these are a good winter skincare product for anyone who needs an extra burst of hydration. The only thing that keeps me from recommending them wholeheartedly is the fragrance.
