This part is designed for standard doors but the velcro placement is for extra wide doors. Tucking all 3 pieces of foam into the fabric is too long for the fabric. You can't fold it with Velcro, it's closed. After you cut it to the standard door width, the fabric has a large crease that doesn't even line up with the velcro. I've had these plugs in the past when we lived in the Midwest and used them in the winter. I live in Texas now and for this door to my master bedroom for noise reduction as the master is just behind the living room and we all have tile floors on the first floor. Noise spreads a lot across the tile, I'll update in a week or two after we've tried it out a bit assuming it stays under the door and doesn't drive my husband crazy.
