I use a range of electronic repair headlights that run on AA and AAA batteries. With NiMh, at a certain point the lamp starts to dim and eventually turns into a small point of light over the next hour or so. Usually after about 3 hours I change the batteries (or get another headlamp with fully charged batteries) and keep going until the light is full. Not to say the following hours are useless past the 3 hour mark, but I prefer full, strong light at all times. If the batteries can last up to 3 hours before the lights dim a bit, I think they're good enough. .They ran for 3 hours and 30 minutes before there was a hint of light degradation, so they totally lived up to my expectations. They arrive with a low or no charge, but that's not a problem as they're designed to charge, right? 5/5
