They're tiny and thin, but the opening is wide enough not to block the lens of my iMac (27-inch, 2012). Close the lens, which means that the adhesive is not exposed. I have mine on a desktop computer so there is no other movement, vibration, friction or anything that would wear down this part or affect adhesion, but I don't know how it would hold up on a laptop or other mobile device . It works well but it's not a very high quality plastic, it's black and kinda hides behind the black frame of my screen, but it doesn't match the glossy/glass frame in any way. It's there to see if that's what you're looking for, but still understated enough to blend in for the most part.
