Disappointment in phones and accessories

The phone works as advertised and everything is fine. There are many features that users would like to see, including a backlit display, an adjustable screen, and large buttons. But there are included and excluded takes that have disappointed me, some more than others. I can't figure out the purpose of the model number on the idle screen which the user can't change to something more recent or at least increase the font size. Date (and time. I was very disappointed to find out that only 25 numbers are stored in the directory including 10 speed dial numbers. I thought it was a mistake until I tried entering #26 when the caller ID log can record up to 50. To be honest, I think the opposite would make more sense. Use in the dark. When entering, the display is easy to see, but if you want to make a call, you first have to find the light source. In an emergency this can be difficult, especially if the emergency involves a power outage. Even if you don't factor in the illumination of the keys, at least the fluorescent effect will suffice. I bought this phone as a spare and to make sure I have a stationary tool to use in the Performs basic functions when the power goes out unlike most cordless phones offers this feature but I can't get over the frustration.
