I purchased these after using the SCD for a session at the hospital which completely relieved the swelling in my legs. I also have neuralgia, but it's not scary. Even after more than a week of daily use in combination with lifting, there is no change in the legs. I don't expect permanent changes; there are no changes. They are good mainly because they make me sit or lie down with my legs up, and that alone is useful.
