I don't want to show a few pieces of wood, but WOW! Of all the aquarium decorations I've bought for my fish tanks, this purchase is by far the best/funniest. When I opened the package I was pleased that these items were so much better than all the faux wood aquarium decorations you see for sale everywhere. They were the perfect size, variety, and quantity for my 5.5 gallon and 10 gallon tanks. I cooked them for 3 hours to remove most of the tannins and kill any possible burrowing parasites. And last but not least, the cooking soaked the wood with water - otherwise those little bits of driftwood tend to float to the surface. And the water from the pot was dark brown, as expected. (I actually did two laps - the first lap for 2 hours and the water was dark brown, and the second lap for 1 hour and the water was almost clear.) After that I let them dry a bit, but not too much. before being placed in tanks. And they are absolutely perfect for my tanks. I was able to combine three or four pieces in each cymbal to make some beautiful compositions out of real fine driftwood and still have a few pieces left. It just doesn't get any better for small nano aquariums.
