Review on Enhanced Precision and Resolution: Mitutoyo 530 122 Stainless Steel Measuring Tool by Vedavyas Fleming

I've bought a dozen Mitutoyo gauges in the past, although most of them were bought 10 years ago. Very disappointed with the loss of quality during this time. The sliding mechanism of this caliper is not at all the same as before, it seems less precise. All other Mitutoyo tools I've bought come with a sturdy plastic storage case that comes with a cheap, flimsy case that offers no protection and falls apart with little use. This tool met my needs for measuring random screws here and there, but I wouldn't buy it again.
