Review on ๐Ÿ’ต Cash N Guns Second Edition: Enhanced for Optimal Online Visibility by Matt Travers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

What a hoot but play the 1st edition.

This game is incredibly interesting for parties. I play a lot of more serious board games and some serious strategy games, but sometimes you just want to prank your friends by pretending to point guns at each other! I note that I have played both the 1st and 2nd editions. The second edition is worse because it has some new rules that I think make the game less fun. The good thing is that you can play 1st edition with a printout of 2nd edition (because 2nd edition just added the rules). You should be able to find the rules online, but to play the 1st edition: - Remove the Godfather role - Remove gems and paintings and extra bullet/wound cards - Instead of picking up loot one at a time as you move clockwise move, the loot is shared equally among all remaining players (who have not been shot or retreated). If the loot can't be split evenly, split as much as possible evenly and the remaining loot STAYS MIDDLE. 8 new cards are drawn (the deck gets EVEN BIGGER). In my opinion, this creates a much more engaging dynamic and makes the game feel a lot more whimsical. My final recommendation for this game is what my friend gave to increase energy. - Everyone should start sitting down, but then stand up when you point your foam guns at each other. Just get up! It gets people moving and people have a lot more fun "getting into the act" and pretending to be threatening each other with foam guns. Have fun!
