Headlights work. They're bright. I like the smaller, more compact design. I used both flashlights for 6 hours on a single charge and didn't notice any noticeable difference in light output. Highly recommended. If you're on the fence, you should search them on Google. It's better than the Bontrashgear versions advertised in paid bike magazines. I have had many Cygolite products and they work great and last longer than advertised. Ever wondered why Bontrager or any other company ranks so highly in bike and gear magazines while smaller companies don't? Marketing. Buy them and save yourself a US scholarship. I also think I've read some complaints about the binding system and its loss. I guess if you lose this you don't know how to mount them, dumb or don't have thumbs? I have never lost one of these rubber/silicone band lights. You tie it with a rubber band as tight as possible, make sure the band is hooked on the hook, and you can take it with you, it fits anywhere and easy to take off if you live in the city. Of course, other systems work well, like mountain biking, where you don't want your headlight to move when you bounce off house-sized boulders, but you don't need to hit boulders to be seen going down the road. and if you're good at stopping, the lights are the least of your problems, and I have 99.
