It's just a USB cable after all, so it can be great, right? A small manufacturing detail made this the best USB cable I have ever used. The "C" side of this cable fits a little better than any other cable I have and I find it better for storing my phone. I use this cable to charge my phone while riding the motorcycle. As I accelerated to top speed on the freeway exit, the phone mount failed, causing the phone to fly toward me, hit the tank, and then fall onto the side of the tank. Watching in horror, I was utterly amazed when the phone was just dangling from the cord as I swerved and slowed. Now, I'm not going to suggest that this cable be considered a dedicated cell phone tether, but it easily saved me hundreds of dollars and a whole lot of frustration when the phone hit the ground at 65 mph. Oh, and it charges the phone too.
