The right style. The rolled length is perfect when my phone is on the mount. It's short enough not to get in the way. If and when I need to get it out of the mount, it stretches out comfortably for me without tripping over it. If it helps, I'll drive a big SUV.

I've been looking for a short and/or coiled USB car charger on the market for a long time, but never found a suitable one. This is ideal for use in my cars as it is long enough to reach my phone without hanging over the console. This one is only used in my cars and "feels" sturdy so will probably last a long time. I like the color choice too!

I had a bad period when I discovered that many aftermarket USB cables don't properly connect my car (Chevy Cruze) to my phone (Samsung S21). The USB-A end that connects to the car had to wiggle "just right" to connect to Android Auto. I always thought the cables had gone bad, but then several brand new cables had the same problem. Good. I am giving 5 stars because it works very well but did not meet my expectations. The reason it didn't live up to my expectations is because the reel is VERY solid. I'm sure you can stretch it up to 3ft, but don't expect to plug it into your phone 3ft away and it will stay there.
