Weak point in the bracket fails regularly

I bought this pop screen a few years ago and everything was fine for a while. It connected easily to the cylindrical shaft of my mic stand and I was able to place it quite well. But it became apparent that the main disadvantage was the connection between the clamp and the long flexible arm. Each item worked well and it mounts to the square tubes of my latest mic stand and is also adjustable with a flexible arm. But the point where the flexible arm connects to the clamp is the weak point. The lever is connected with a simple screw connection and this connection is easy to loosen. Then the arm sags and it is impossible to take the right position. In order to allow the connection to be screwed in far enough to hold the lever in place, even with a horizontal connection, there are reaction forces in the flexible lever that make it very difficult to position the filter correctly. Apparently I can only hold the filter from above, otherwise the wrist and hand will move the filter away from the microphone. Unfortunately, apart from this design flaw, it seems to work fine.
