Pretty weak yoke on pop filters

Without the screw yokes it would be a 5 to be honest. Not COMPLETELY the manufacturer's fault as I tend to be overly aggressive with things. But when I first attached it to my mic boom, the plastic thread holding the screw broke off. It still works as a pop filter and keeps it in place with tape or zip ties. It's just crap. If you can flip it, I'd suggest a case that slides right over your mic with one of those shock mounts, so vibration noise doesn't show up in your recordings. For me, and I'm

Not bad for the price, reasonably fits the Blue Yeti

Got this for my Blacked Out Blue Yeti mic as others have mentioned it takes a bit of effort to fit. I followed Jeremy Seifert's review for positioning and it didn't quite work without a few modifications. When I first tried to install it, the plastic cut into the paint, breaking the mic mount. I was a little frustrated at first, but permanent marker can't fix anything. To attach it securely I added two things: 1. Velcro to add an extra soft layer to the mount 2. Furniture sticker on a plasticโ€ฆ

Weak point in the bracket fails regularly

I bought this pop screen a few years ago and everything was fine for a while. It connected easily to the cylindrical shaft of my mic stand and I was able to place it quite well. But it became apparent that the main disadvantage was the connection between the clamp and the long flexible arm. Each item worked well and it mounts to the square tubes of my latest mic stand and is also adjustable with a flexible arm. But the point where the flexible arm connects to the clamp is the weak point. Theโ€ฆ

I'm glad "lights " on this one. rzunimag.

Five Dollars! Five dollars! I used an old hanger and stocking combo as a pop shield for my Blue Snowball USB mic to save money, but the Revain was $5.33. I thought. give him a chance Was I glad I did. Same day delivery was amazing. (I bought it with other items.) After some use and a few experiments, it's safe to say that this was the last time I saw my old homemade pop filter! It works just as well as my musician brothers' $80 pop filter. I'm not a professional but I do voiceovers for myโ€ฆ

Great pop filter for the price; Bad clamping mechanism

This pop filter took my recordings to the next level. I have to say that not worrying about having a hard time pronouncing the s and r sounds helps me. Design and function The Dragonpad pop filter is a plastic circle with a mesh inside. It looks like it has an aluminum tube connecting the filter to the hinge. The hinge is where you connect it to a microphone, stand, or anything for the clip to hold on to. The collar is made of metal and plastic. The terminal is, so to speak, curved or angularโ€ฆ
