I think it works very little
I ordered a size Large (14-16) for my 11 year old who wears the smaller size and usually wears a size 10 for boys. The shirt is too small and the arms too short to use the thumb holes. We needed this last minute holiday so I plan on keeping it but I would advise others to order more than you think you need.
- It's a bit big, I would suggest going down a size especially if they wear it in the water.
- The shirt may be uncomfortable for some children, especially those who are sensitive to certain fabrics.
