I'm replacing the stock speakers in my 2008 Tahoe with JBL GTO629 Premium 6.5" coaxial speakers. The speakers were advertised as fitting my make and model and they would fit if I just wanted to use sheet metal screws to attach them to the door panel. But in order to install them correctly, I quickly realized that I needed an adapter. The problem with the SCOSCHE SAGMHR634B 2007-2015 Select GM 6.5" or 6.75" speaker adapter is not that the product doesn't fit, but that in turn it doesn't fit properly. The product dimensions are listed as 8.75 x 6.5 x 2 inches. The Revain page shows two different images, one adapter is 1" deep and the other is 2" deep. This combined with the incorrect product description was the reason I completed my order. The photo shows the difference between the adapter with the new speaker and the original normal speaker. A 1" spacer is required for the same fit as the original speakers.
