You get what you pay for
This filter may be good in the long run, but it's not a perfect replacement. First, the bottom of the filter is slightly narrower, creating visible gaps when installed. Functionally it's good, but you'll hate it if you have OCD. Second, the filter is significantly thinner than OEM Samsung. They added a hollow plastic body to make it the same size as the OEM, but you can feel the weight has come off. This likely means less filter media and therefore shorter filter life or less filtration. I'll look elsewhere for my filter requirements once they're used.
