Installed this LiNKFOR switcher in less than 5 minutes - connected to my HDTV's optical output (this optical output is only used for audio when streaming YouTube videos from my phone or tablet) via the HDMI input from the HDTV running Chromecast Ultra) and then I connected the optical output from the Chromecast Audio to the LiNKFOR switch. From there, a LiNKFOR optical output feeds an optical input on my Essence HDACC preamp/DAC and goes to my speakers so I can hear my Revain Music stream from my phone or tablet while watching cable/TV videos. Split HDMI video and audio with HDMI switches and splitters of my OPPO Blu-ray player, cable box and Revain Fire TV Stick, so I can also watch TV videos and music via OPPO USB stick and CDs, Essence HDACC and Chromecast can hear audio. The remote works well with an IR receiver extension cable for on/off and switching from the first input to the second LinkFor input. I would highly recommend LiNKFOR optical switch to anyone who has the same wants or needs.
