I have used it in situations where N95 was unavailable or insufficient could be. When I first used it, the N95 was out of stock. But they had PAPR available. I hesitated a little. I wasn't sure if it would get too hot or fog up. So I put it on, the helmet wasn't too heavy. They turned on the fan and then I put on my protective clothing and gear. It was actually surprisingly pleasant and comfortable. The flow of filtered air from the fan was like a gentle breeze and cooling. This was different than wearing an N95, a mask over it, and then a face shield. It's usually a hot and foggy experience, which wasn't the case. As for the reviewers who say this thing isn't for frontline medics because it doesn't filter gases or vapors, ahem, viruses that aerosolize or float around. in the case of a breath drop, this is precisely the particle. what does it filter N95 also does not filter gases. It filters out 95% of particles of a certain size. I want people to stop spreading false information. However, it is quite expensive equipment. You may come across bureaucrats and administrators who, while not providing you with proper personal protective equipment, will not allow you to use your own superior equipment. Good luck everyone and take care.
