I swapped my camera straps for these because I had an accident during my wedding. I had an Elinchrom transmitter on my camera and set the camera on the floor while I helped the bride with her dress for the shot. I didn't realize I had stepped on the strap and when I picked the camera off the floor I dropped it while picking it up. The Elinchrom broke off when I dropped it and I had to buy a new one. I immediately decided I needed something else to avoid such silly moves. I ordered one to try and was very impressed with the feel. It's neoprene, lightweight and feels durable. It easily accommodated my camera with battery grip and a 70-200 lens. I'm a bit worried about the quick connect clip so will keep an eye on it over time. It's nice that the camera strap isn't hanging around my neck and getting in the way of the camera buttons when taking pictures. I have since ordered a second one and now both bodies come fitted with these wrist straps. So far, so good. They make the wrist a little sweaty in hot weather but are quite comfortable and so far have given me the fall protection I've needed. Instead of purple, I would have preferred white accents, but that's personal preference.
