This worked great for my needs, I've been using it on Win10 for a while to control multiple Oriental Motor drives over MODBUS in a multidrop configuration. For the final install, I switched to a DTECH RS-232 to RS-485 adapter since the control interface only had an RS-232 connector. I'm now using a Huanyang VFD USB adapter with RS-485, which also works fine. I didn't like how the activity lights were blurry between the status lights' little windows, so I opened it up and taped a black tube to each LED. Confine them to their own status indicator window, which really improves the visibility of the Tx/Rx indicators.
