Review on πŸ” Enhanced Productivity on the Go: TIESAN Adjustable Laptop Desk with Fan and Foldable Legs by Stephen Cernatescu

Useful fan, some compromises

I have a similar fanless desk that I use to put a large and old 17" gaming laptop in the corner of my sloping ceiling room. several times in a relatively poorly ventilated corner i wanted to use this table to increase the airflow. The compromise isn't easy, though: the leg can be half an inch shorter, and the stopper ("baffle") that keeps equipment from sliding down when the table is tilted is a removable half-inch hard plastic stopper (as in the Unlike the full 1" retractable rubber stopper from my other desk). The bumper "baffle" that keeps my laptop from sliding off at an angle is easy to remove (handy for using a spirit level), but short and the hard plastic has no friction. My gaming laptop is tall and h like a frontend-like ramp that easily slides over shorter objects. The bumper here is high and secure enough to hold my laptop in place when standing, but my laptop can slip when I try to pick it up or when I move the desk if I'm not careful. The desk is sturdy and holds angle and rise. The fan isn't particularly powerful and doesn't consume much power, but it's useful. The power cord is long enough to plug into a laptop USB port. While the fan is blowing through the metal grille, other parts of the table are still blocking the air and are solid, with the same not very conductive table material, so cooling isn't the best. Conclusion: If you want moderate cooling in a foldable folding table, then this table will make some compromises.
