Great gadget for RV travel

We are avid RV enthusiasts and often need to reheat leftovers or a sandwich or slow cook lunch or dinner while on the road. . We bought it hoping it would eliminate the need for the CrockPot which is too heavy and bulky for our small RV. For safety reasons, we wanted something that wouldn't require our attention while the van was in motion. So far it has been just perfect. This device consists of a washable, heat-retaining soft case, a detachable aluminum heating plate in a plastic housing and a power cable with power indicator. (This is NOT a microwave oven.) We have opted for the 120 volt model which draws only 40 watts and can be used with our inverter. (A 12-volt model is also available.) The case is collapsible, so it takes up very little space when not in use. The build quality looks excellent. So far it has worked flawlessly in our tests. After about an hour, the cold veggies we reheated reached about 190 degrees Fahrenheit, just right. Some other products take 1.5 to 2 hours to heat up to the right temperature. It would be almost impossible to accidentally overcook something, which is good. The outside of the case never gets very hot, so you can use it almost anywhere. All in all, this is a very useful and well-designed device that will come in very handy for us. Highly recommended.
